Bud Vana

Bud Vana hails from North Eastern Vermont or, as locals prefer to call it, “The Kingdom.” Growing up so close to Quebec, from an early age Bud developed a fascination with linguistic minorities. Besides being the only Harvard undergraduate ever to have majored in Armenian studies, Bud is also literate in four dead languages. After finishing Harvard his interest in non-standard forms of linguistic expression lead him to his work as an educational therapist specializing in dyslexia. Bud has now returned to “The Kingdom” where he is pursuing the language of “Orgo” as part of his pre-med requirements.

Hunter Maats is the consummate global nomad. After finishing high school at Eton College, he traveled to Long Island and spent a year and a half living and working with Dr. James D Watson who won the Nobel Prize for discovering the structure of DNA. Since then he has excavated Panamanian latrines for the Smithsonian, written for travel guides on three continents, and supported such unpopular causes as Harvard football. Since moving to LA and founding Overqualified he finally feels like he's at home.

Tina Rivers

Tina Rivers is, in every sense, one of Florida's best. While attending Gulliver Preparatory School, Tina received the Miami Herald's Silver Knight Award for excellence in the field of English and Literature. No sooner had she won the award than she switched her attentions to Art History, after a class on Surrealism opened her eyes to a world beyond words. Her interest in art history dovetailed with her passion for humanitarian work in the form of numerous art and media events designed to raise awareness of human rights violations around the world. She is currently getting her PhD in Art History at Columbia where she is busy showing the world that the T in TA stands for Tina.
